URBANIZED and ALICE join forces with exciting new partnership!
We are delighted to share that the URBANIZED project is now an associated project to ALICE – Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe.
ALICE believes that future logistics, from global to urban, will be founded on a global open system of systems. This will enable assets and resources in logistics networks to be interconnected, facilitating their use to maximum capacity and productivity while increasing agility and resilience of supply chains. They call this vision the Physical Internet (PI) and it will support the affordable transition of assets towards Zero Emissions Logistics.
The URBANIZED project shares this vision, and foresees playing a key role through its proposed solutions. The modular and swappable cargobody innovations can be especially valuable for shared and consolidated logistics. Additionally, with a strong consortium of relevant players, URBANIZED is making important advances in vehicle safety, cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency.
We foresee that ALICE and URBANIZED will work together on thought leadership and positioning of our vehicle solutions within urban logistics. Moving forward, you can expect much to come from this partnership!
